Are Louvre Houses’ products made of steel or aluminium?

Our Louvre Roofs and Louvre Screens are made of high-quality aluminium which does not rust, nor oxidise.

Where are the louvre blades manufactured?

Our louvre blades are manufactured in Australia.

How much does it cost?

Much like a home, every louvre system has unique differences such as the way it needs to be fixed to an existing roof, the area size and many other factors which determine the final cost of the system we design for you. The only way to accurately provide you with a quote is to visit, measure and properly assess your site.

What colours are available?

All the standard Colorbond colours, plus an extensive range of other colours to suit your home.

Are the louvre blades waterproof?

Our Louvre Roof louvre blades are waterproof. Our Louvre Screens, whilst offering plenty of weather protection, are not 100% waterproof.

Can I retain my existing timber pergola frame and fit louvres within?

We can only determine if your existing frame is suitable by measuring the timber sizes, which must meet engineering requirements, and assessing the condition of the timber first.

Does the louvre roof close if it rains?

Yes, our Louvre Roof systems include a high-tech Rain Sensor which closes your roof if you happen to leave them open and it rains.

Can the louvre roof louvre spans adequately cover my outdoor area?

Our professional and innovative design team can cover 99% of spans required.

Will I need any engineering for my louvre system?

The majority of our Louvre Roof designs do not require engineering, however due to wind category ratings, design nuances or attachment methods, additional engineering may be necessary and is generally not cost-prohibitive.

How does the system cope near salt-water and/or high winds?

As our louvre systems are made of high-quality aluminium, our product is perfectly suited to coastal locations where not only resistance to rust is required, but high strength where wind uplift is a concern.

Can I add accessories such as outdoor speakers, Bluetooth or heaters?

Yes, our cutting-edge Louvre Roof technology means all these accessories can be integrated into your project effectively transforming the area into an extension of your home which is comfortable, practical and attractive.

Can you supply the system in kit-form so I can build a louvre roof myself?

Yes, we can provide Supply Only Louvre Roof systems, however we do recommend installation by a competent builder. An installation manual is included, however application to Council, fixings and flashings are not included.
